Excelsior Henderson
Tooling wasn't finished on Excelsior-Henderson's new Super X but
they needed a bike to photograph for their promotional literature.
Excelsior-Henderson's need was for a prototyped bike that a motorcylce
enthusiast could stand 10 feet from and believe it was real. Excell
produced a bike that the enthusiasts sat on and begged to take
for a ride!
Excell produced 150 parts for the photo bike. We pushed the edge
by Hex Chroming several SLA and FDM parts. Excell used this new
process on the headlight, ignition switch, gearbox cover, and
most of the exhaust. The parts were made in our Minneapolis shop
and our team built the bike from the ground up on site at the
Excelsior-Henderson plant.
Excell is proud of our ability to combine technologies such as
SLA and FDM with Hex Chroming to exceed our client's expectations.
