Architectural Model

In the past, Excell built architectural models utilizing traditional modeling techniques. Recently, we've improved upon tradition by incorporating SLA technology into architectural modelmaking.

Our client's organic and detailed building design required a unique model for display. To meet their needs, we made SLA masters and built silicone molds from which we cast several parts in a clear urethane. We sandblasted the cast parts allowing the viewer to see the interior wall and details through the frosted, semi-translucent exterior.

The model's unmatched detail, made possible our SLA machine, proved an excellent tool for our client to sell their design.
