If you're looking for a rapid prototype that has the characteristics of an injection molded ABS part, our FDM 2000 will get the job done. This system uses a thin filament of ABS plastic that is heated to a semi-liquid state where it is layered to produce a solid ABS part. These parts provide up to 85% of the strength of an injection molded part so testing can be done on snap features, hinges, and even springs. We also have the new Water Works system which uses a water soluble support system. This allows us to remove support from delicate and non accessible areas.
